The Remains of the Day

Another 100 word storytelling.

This is about priorities, and a little bit about hindsight.  I realize that I cannot take back time spent unwisely, but I can change my priorities starting now.

Enjoy this little reflection.

03/04/2014 (Tuesday)- The Remains of the Day

I find myself with the remains of the day still on my plate, bits of time unspent pushed to the side for family.

Too little to be filling.

Too much to digest.

I thought that I might have space at the end:  after work, after school, after me.

They’d understand.  There are goals to be reached, dreams to be caught, and stories to be told.  That in this one life, one moment, one chance of ours to be all we are meant to be— we must take it.

Yet, at the end, I wish I had more time for family.
