A Salmon Sunset

Worn out from work.  Wish I could write more about that beautiful sunset I saw while working, it stayed that wonderful tone of salmon pink for a good long ten minutes.  Almost stopped what I was doing just to admire nature, despite my sterile surroundings cooped inside a building.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I'll get my mind out of the gutter soon and have something better for you all.

09/28/2013 (Saturday)- A Salmon Sunset

Sitting at a desk I looked up to see the Florida sunset.

The Sky softened welcoming Sun back home, back to bed to dream of sister Moon.  Tones of yellow and red were mixing and weaving as they painted over what once was blue.

Settling into a warm pink color, yellow halo surrounded by gray hints of night and stars- the hem of Moon’s dress.

Time stopped that salmon tinted moment.

Life then told me two true things:

One, I love writing my daydreams, making them into stories.

Two, that word salmon made me realize I haven’t eaten anything today.
